ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS
To submit an abstract, please click the "Submit an Abstract or Manuscript" button on the website homepage. The abstract submission deadline was April 28, 2025 - please contact us at Programming@programmaster.org to inquire late submissions.
POSTER SESSION
A poster session is set for Tuesday evening. To participate, please submit an abstract and check the poster option.
Poster stands will be set up in the Zlotnik Ballroom 1-2 of the AT&T Hotel & Conference Center and will be available starting Tuesday morning. Please have your poster hung before the poster session starts on Tuesday afternoon.
The stands (see photo below) are “A”-frame configurations, designed to hold a poster that is 42 inches tall by 72 inches wide (107 cm by 183 cm). Poster edges will be attached to the frames with large clips which will provided. Therefore, it is not possible to use, for example, loose letter sized sheets or A4 sized sheets, as there is no way to attach them. SFF does not have a required poster template. For template ideas, consult your university or search online for poster templates. Recommended examples include: BetterPoster and University of Texas examples.
At the end of the poster session Tuesday evening, you must remove your poster if you want to keep it. The stands will be removed, and remaining posters will be discarded at that time.
SPEAKER REGISTRATION
Please note speakers are required to register and badges must be worn for admission to technical sessions and all conference events. This is the same for oral, poster, and invited speakers. Note - Invited speakers are not automatically registered for the event. To register, please click the "Register" button on the website homepage. Registration deadline is July 23, 2025. Online and onsite registration will remain open through the event.
VISA LETTER REQUESTS
Please visit the "Visa Letters" tab under "Housing and Travel" in the menu.
MANUSCRIPTS (optional - not required for participation)
Manuscript guidelines may be obtained here.
Authors must present their work at the meeting to have their manuscript included in the proceedings. Manuscript submission is optional for all presenters. Manuscripts should be uploaded at the conference website. Please click the "Submit an Abstract or Manuscript" button on the website homepage. Authors submitting manuscripts have the option to have their manuscript reviewed/refereed. Having a conference proceedings article reviewed is important to some authors, particularly academicians. Each manuscript receives two reviews using a referee pool composed of all authors submitting reviewed manuscripts. Authors selecting reviewed status for their manuscript must review two other manuscripts per submission to be published. Please see the conference main homepage for deadlines. Manuscripts for review are due by June 24; final manuscripts and non-reviewed are due September 22.
PROCEEDINGS
Authors must present their work at the meeting to have their manuscript included in the proceedings. Papers presented in oral presentations or in the poster sessions will be published in a downloadable format. Each person (including students) registering for the full meeting will receive instructions to download the full proceedings about 3 months after the meeting. Individual proceedings papers will be accessible to anyone and will be downloadable on line at the conference website. Past Proceedings articles are available at the conference website homepage. Click the "Proceedings Archive" menu tab .
